Loyil Winston Cryer

  Noted events in his life were:

• Obituary. Loyil Winston Cryer went to be with the Lord and his beautiful wife, Clayo, on May 24, 2017 at the age of 83. He was a resident of Tioga Community Care Center and a member of Tioga First Baptist Church. He retired from South Central Bell after 32 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, and his family.

Services will be held Monday, May 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Tim Hisaw officiating. The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Monday, May 29 from 9:00 until time of service. Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel, Williana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Richard and Bessie Mae Cryer; brothers, Wilmer Cryer, W. R. Cryer, Johnny W. Cryer, sister, Janie Walpole, and grandson, Randy Cryer, II.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Randy Cryer (Jennifer); daughter, Renee’ Dych (Doug); granddaughter, Jennifer Brown (Chris Corley); grandson, Marlin Todd; great granddaughters, Megan Brown (Jamie Guillory), Victoria Brown; brother, Jimmy W. Cryer (Peggy), and sister, Lora May.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Marlin Todd, Craig Cryer, Chris Corley, Jamie Guillory, Garrett Burge and Joe Ray. Honorary pallbearer is Rocky Murry.

A special thank you to Tioga Community Care Center, All Saints Hospice and Tom Keller for taking exceptional care of our loved one.

Loyil married Clayo Murry, daughter of Obie Overton Murry and Gertrude Seanie West. (Clayo Murry was born in 1937, died on 6 Nov 2013 and was buried in Liberty Cemetery, Linville, Union, LA.)
