• Notes. Mary Murry was adopted by Nancy Lee and husband Jonathan. It is noted in later Lee documentation that Mary was loved and treated the same as their other children.
Mary was born in Alabama in 1842. During this time John Murry and Elizabeth Lee families lived there.
John had two daughters unaccounted for but they were older. I can't figure out where Mary fits in if she was one of Nancy Lee's Murry cousins.
Mary married Jonathan Jasper Windham. (Jonathan Jasper Windham was born in 1842, died in 1912 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Orange, Orange, TX.)
