Mrs. Dorothy Ione Hunt
Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Ione Hunt, age 81, of Dubach, LA were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Henry Cemetery in Hico with Rev. Dick Paige officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Hunt passed away Friday, July 9, 2004 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Hico Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Earnest Hunt and a grandson, Jeffery Wiltcher.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by two sons: Billy Wayne Hunt and wife Pat of Baton Rouge, LA and Mike Hunt and wife Stephanie of Jonesboro, LA; four daughters: Earnestine Hunt of Dubach, LA, Ruth Barfield and husband Ray of Dubach, LA, LaVerne Foster and husband Lamar of Homer, LA and Marilyn Franklin and husband Pee Wee of Dubach, LA; one sister: Ocille Taylor of Choudrant, LA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hico Baptist Church Building Fund.
