Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Smith, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. McDougle was born in Ashley County, Ark., and moved to Borger after her marriage. She was employed by Woolworth until it closed, then worked for TG&Y until she retired. She was a volunteer at Borger Nursing Home for many years and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She married Charlie McDougle in 1933. He died in 1979.
Survivors include a son, J.B. McDougle of Borger; six daughters, Charlene Blackburn of Allen, LaJoy Blaylock of Oklahoma City, Peggy Hamilton of Texas City, Cloyce Gibbons of Borger, Beverly Navarrette of Amarillo and Nancy Howard of Bryan; three brothers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 519 Mississippi in Borger. They request memorials be to Fellowship Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
Ruth married Charlie McDougle, son of William J "Will" McDougal and Maude Tommie Murray. (Charlie McDougle was born on 23 Dec 1908, died on 13 Feb 1979 and was buried in Bernice Cemetery, Bernice, Union, LA.)
