• Obituary. Funeral services for Steven Anthony Murry, 55, Whitehouse, will be held at noon Saturday, May 31, at Rose Heights Church in Tyler under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard.
Mr. Murry died after a massive heart attack on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2014, in Tyler.
He was born on July 30, 1958, in Shreveport, La., to Shirley and Clayton Murry.
He raised three sons. Steven served in the United States Coast Guard, worked as a mechanic and later became a sergeant and K-9 officer for the Smith County Precinct 1 Constable's Office. He was particularly known for his police and mechanic work.
Steven is survived by his sons and his wife, his 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, hismother, and his K-9 Partner, Kaleb.
Steven married.
