Funeral service celebrating the life of Charlotte Martin Murry of Downsville, LA will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe with Bro. Ricky Nolan officiating. Interment will follow at Wilhite Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation, 11:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
Charlotte was born on April 6, 1953, in West Monroe, LA and departed this earth following on going health conditions on February 8, 2022, in Shreveport, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Ruby Martin, and her son, Larry Dale Murry.
She Leaves behind her cherished and loving husband, of 50 years Thomas D Murry. Her beloved children, Steven Murry, Loretta Jennings and husband James and Nicole Burrell; her cherished grandchildren, Glen Murry, Brittany Burrell, Makalya Burrell, and great grandson, Malachi Murry. She also leaves behind her sisters, Shirley Miller and husband, Mike, Debra Matin Jones and husband, Joseph and brother, Ricky Martin and wife, Pam as well as 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
Charlotte loved her family and friends and was loved and treasured by many.
Pallbearers honoring Charlotte’s life will be as follows, Eddie Taylor, Chase Jordan, Joseph Nolan, Charles Simpson, Joey Allen, Josh McCloud, Chris Joseph, and Sam Hughes.
Charllote married Thomas Dale Murry, son of Leo Thomas Murry and Betty Fay Johnson.
