• Obituary, 2007, Benton, Saline, AR. Dorothy Rowland was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Pine Knot" Rowland and an infant daughter, Carolyn.

Dorothy was a beautician for fifty plus years and owner and operator of Dorothy's Beauty Shop for thirty-five years. She was a fifty year member of Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron of Benton. She also was a charter member of Parkview United Methodist Church.

She was a cherished mom of Janie Lovel (husband, Stanley); Bettigene Pelton (husband, Wayne) of Benton; Becky Sue Fite (husband, Scott) of Springdale. She was loved and blessed by seven grandchildren, Vicki Whitley, Waynette Pelton, Sue-Ellen Pelton, Karla Smith, all of Benton, and Jim Lovel of Athens, GA, Amy Brewer of Mena and Angie Landers of Springdale. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren plus one on the way. a grandkitty, Montana "Tana" Marie, and many other relatives and friends.
