Funeral services for Lloyd Wilson Albritton, Sr, 84, of Farmersville were held at Ward's Chapel Church of Christ, Sunday at 3:30 p.b. with F. C. Bailey, assisted by Kenneth L. Brantley, and Chuck Farrington officiating. Burial followed at Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Mr. Albritton died Saturday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. after a long illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Farmersville.
He is survived by one son, Wilson Albritton, Jr, Farmersville; three daughters, Mrs. Leo Aulds and Mrs. Daughon Smith, both of Farmersville; Mrs. W. M. Gill of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brotheres, Raymond Albritton, Farmersville; Irving Albritton, Ruston; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle McGough, Farmersville; ten grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Curtis Patterson, A. D. Smith Jr. Billy Wayne Aulds, Tommy Albritton, Boyd Albritton, Herman Albritton.
Lloyd married Katherine Isabel "Belle" Green, daughter of Abner A Green and Martha Elizabeth "Bettie" Murry, on 28 Dec 1904. (Katherine Isabel "Belle" Green was born on 13 Jul 1883 in Union Parish, LA, died on 20 Apr 1967 and was buried in Liberty Hill/Taylor Cemetery, Union, LA.)
