• Obituary. WINNSBORO - Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home with the Chaplain Tom Carroll officiating with Pvt. Stephen Glen Murry, and 18-year-old Winnsboro resident who drowned Saturday.
Burial will be in Chase Cemetery.
Mr. Murry drowned at Belton, Tex., near Ft. Hood where he was stationed.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Betty Killingsworth of Winnsboro; his father, Leo Murry of Dry Prong; his stepfather, James R. "Jack" Killingsworth of Winnsboro; three brothers, Thomas Dale Murry and Jimmy Delton Murry, both of West Monroe, and William Alfred "Billy" Murry of Winnsboro; a half-brother, James R. Killingsworth Jr. of Monroe; a half-sister, Miss Pamela Killingsworth of Winnsboro; and paternal grandfather, Clyde Murry of Dry Prong.
