• Obituary, 1999, Hutchinson, TX. BORGER - Eleanor Louise Bishop, 92, died Thursday, April 1, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Garden in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Bishop was born in Union Parrish, La., and had been a Borger resident since 1929. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bishop, in 1949, a son, Bill Bishop, and a daughter, Betty Hodges.

Survivors include a son, James Bishop of West Monroe, La.; three daughters, Juanita Hodges of Amarillo, Shirley Bishop of West Monroe and Helen Jowers of Borger; a sister, Jessie Bryan of Bernice, La.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
