• Obituary. Clyde Thomas Murry

WILLIANA - Services for Clyde Thomas Murry will be at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Liberty Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria.

Murry, 84, of Pineville died Wednesday in his residence.

He was a retired logger and a native of Grant Parish.

Survivors include one son, Herman L. Murry of Pineville; two sisters, Bessie Slayter and Lois Loe, both of Dry Prong; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are James Murry, Barry Murry, Shun Murry, Billy Murry, Thomas Murry and Maxey W. Murry.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services today in the church.

Clyde married Mary Mertice Sikes, daughter of Isaac Alfred Sikes and Ludia Jones, on 3 Jul 1923 in Winnsboro, Franklin, LA.
