• Obituary.

Mrs. Idell Crain Prince of the Fellowship community near Sikes died Saturday, June 21 in a Winnsboro clinic after a short illness, although she had been in failing health for several years.

She was a lifelong resident of the Fellowship community and had been a faithful member of the Baptist church since an early age. She was 77 years of age at the time of her death.

She had made her home for the past few years with her daughter in Winnsboro.

Funeral services were conducted at the Fellowship Baptist Church Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Victor Anderson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Acting as pallbearers were Edsell Prince, Morris Crain, Joe Womack, Jack Womack, Roy Lane Johnson, Dwight Young.

Survivors include four sons, Charlie Prince, Carroll, Texas; Ross Prince, Port Arthur, Texas; Clarence Prince, Sikes; Wayne Prince, Chatham; three daughters, Mrs. Opal Wasson, Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Jewel Wiggins, Winnsboro, Mrs. Lois Arledge of Vinton; two brothers, I. D. Crain, Sikes and W. A. Crain of Dodson; four sisters, Mrs. Iona Young and Mrs. R. C. Johnson, Sikes; Mrs. E. C. Adams, Monroe; Mrs. L. J. Womack, Dodson.

She also left 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
