•  Obituary, Apr 1980. Alexandria Daily Town Talk Newspaper 1980  LUCILLE SLAYTER MURRY  Lucille Slayter Murry, 63 of Dry Prong died Friday April 1980 at Rapides General Hospital.  Survivors include her husband, Denver Lee Murry of Dry Prong; six sons, L.E. Murry of Houston, Texas, W.D. Murry of Emerson, Ark. both of Minden, Jimmy Murry of Dry Prong, Wayne Murry of Lockhart, Texas; two daughters, Mrs Lane Chelette and Carol Carter both of Dry Prong; two brothers Ray Slayter of Pineville and Alfred Slayter of Arkansas; one sister Betty Jean Stagg of Arkadelphia, Ark; her mother, Vera Slayter of Pineville and 23 grandchildren.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Williana.
